There isn’t anyway that you can say Nicki Minaj didn’t know what she was doing making her songs pop friendly with very catchy hooks and Dr. Seuss like rhymes. Pink Friday proves to be a decent maybe even good commercial release for Nicki. She immediately show cases her rapping and singing skills in her first track “I’m the best” where she is singing the hook. I’ve never been a rapper but I’ve always been a poet and her rhymes- “ but I am here to reverse the curse that they live in got two bones to pick imma only choose one… you might get addressed on the second al-bum” is very easy for me to learn and recite. Or the fact that she’s getting at Kim at all? Is Kim Jasmine? I’m not being facetious but wouldn’t saying “I am not Jafar I am Aladdin” make more sense since that was his nemesis? But, then she wouldn’t have the rhythm of that bar. Don’t understand? Read that whole bar aloud. Another issue I have with his track is that Eminem her featured artist on this track murders her and this song…
